Dr Fernando

The Partners at North Berwick Group Practice would like to inform our patients that Dr Kevin Fernando has resigned from the Practice, having been with the Practice as GP Partner since 2009.  His last working day will be Monday 24^th February 2025.

Dr Fernando plans to dedicate his time to developing his role in medical education and diabetes, an area in which he is renowned.  In 2018, he was presented with the Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) for his work in medical education and diabetes.

During the global Covid pandemic Dr Fernando provided a leading role within the Practice ensuring our staff and patients were safely cared for during some of the toughest times in primary care.  Dr Fernando’s patient care and expertise has been truly appreciated and we are grateful for the 15 wonderful years of service he gave to the Practice.

We hope Dr Fernando can set aside some time in his new chapter to perfect his short bread recipe!
